Head Trainer Kathy Kerron

Kathy’s love for horses began at an early age. At the age of 10 she began working at a local Hunt Club in exchange for lessons. She competed very successfully throughout her junior years in the Hunter, Jumpers and Dressage and won several AHSA medals in Hunt Seat Equitation and Dressage Seat Equitation. In 1994 Kathy took some time away from training to raise her children. She was very successful in the Adult Amateur & Amateur Owner Hunter and Jumper divisions and earned the World Champion Hunter Rider, NW Region award in 1994. In 1996, Kathy resumed her training business.

Kathy has taught beginning through advanced level riders and trained horses through all levels of hunters and jumpers, some of which have gone on to compete on the east coast. Kathy has produced riders who have gone on to become professionals in the horse industry, riders who have won the AHSA/USEF zone 9 medal finals, and horses who have gone on to become USEF champions throughout the country.

Kathy offers customized programs for each individual horse and rider. Her positive training technique promotes a fun and educational environment along with a high standard of excellence. All ages and skill levels are welcome.
